McCarthy broke the bad news to his players over the phone on Sunday.
“Ideally I would have preferred to have done it face to face but I couldn’t traipse the length and breadth of the country telling them on a one-to-one basis,” he said.

I wonder what fcuking country he was talking about:mad:

makes me sick that an Ireland manager says "the length and breadth of the counry" meaning england and he doesn't have to point it out:mad:
