Cork City manager Damien Richardson has revealed his characteristic hat was STOLEN from the side of the pitch at the RSC on Friday night.
Rico left his bonnet in the dug-out before the game, but returned to find it missing moments later.
But, ahead of his side’s clash with Shamrock Rovers at a chilly Dalymount Park on Monday night, Richardson insists it was not a lucky memento.
He told the Irish Daily Mirror: “It was left in the dug-out before the game and the next thing I knew it was gone.
Who took it, and where it went, I have absolutely no idea. I wouldn’t say it was my lucky hat, but it keeps me warm and at this stage of the season I need that.”
