the news that donal crowther, jenny stanley, john byrne mugged
the galway united delegate before the meeting whilst quoting that rule book of theirs has angered many gufc fans. For anyone that knows pat kelly the gufc rep who was attending his first meeting, will know he probably is one of the great national league supporters for over 10 years voluntary producing the gufc match programme. mr byrne attended the previous years meeting
even though gufc owed money at that meeting as well
the fai bought 2 tickets at £1500 each for a ford fiesta to bail out the previous board at gufc just 5 days before the board ran away
this money would have been better spent paying off these fee's.
The new board stepped in a crisis situation and found that after 26 years gufc did'nt own a pair of boot laces.
Mr Byrne was a key figure in that previous administration at gufc
the meeting was used to get back at gufc supporters
not for the good of football.
if the fai were monitoring what was going on in the previous years
we would not be in the doldrums now
but our day will come and crowther, stanley and byrne better not
be in our way
