very brief highlights of us vs Dublin City were shown on eircom league weekly last night.
what was mooney at for their goal?
donnellan in the wars again - although defending mooney this time.
was that a poor free kick or a planned pass from mcgrath for robbies goal?
why did all the other players run away from nolan for the celebration? did he spot lfc in exile in the crowd and run away from them? :D

Their goal looked bad for Mooney on TV, what it failed to show was the virtually free header that the Dublin City player was allowed.
Donnellan as protector of the herd... who would ever have had the meek, quiet Brian Donnellan of yesteryear down as an enforcer.
I'm going to give John McGrath the benefit of the doubt, superb assist for that man! :)
As for your last point... I'm afraid I didn't notice, I was busy getting the score off Paul Shiels, Dublin City's red card villian/clown posing as footballer/not articulate even for somebody from Monaghan guy. :o

Oh Paul Shields how he made my night with his juvenile antics :)
As for their goal looking at it pitchside it seemed more a case of defensive ineptitude than goalkeeping error. I'd like to meet the keeper who can save unmarked headers from all of a yard ;)

It was a long ardous process but yes, your talking to the converted, Noel Mooney is a football legend :)
Also, just for the record, tv3's in depth highlights package  failed to show a string of excellent saves by said legend, one full stretch effort of his late on belongs in the World Class category as I'm sure anyone who was there will agree
