The following suspensions and sanctions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission at their meeting on Wednesday, 2nd November and will take effect as and from Wednesday, 16th November 2005 unless otherwise stated:

Tom Corley (Kildare County) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match as per FIFA directive and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Dundalk (22.10.05).
Suspension already served.

Derry City were fined €100 for the improper conduct of their players (five players carded) v Cork City (21.10.05).

John Frost (St. Patrick's Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

Graham Gartland (Drogheda United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

Colm Heffernan (Waterford United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Eric Lavine (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

Limerick were fined €50 for inadequate pitch markings v Sligo Rovers (21.10.05)

Barry Molloy (Derry City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Barry O’Connor (Kildare County) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €100 as a result of being sent off v Dundalk (22.10.05).
Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 16th November.

Alan Mulcahy (Dublin City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Philip Reilly (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Damien Rushe (Athlone Town) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

John Russell (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Monaghan United (22.10.05).
Automatic suspension as per FIFA directive already served in next competitive match as Galway United have no more Under 21 League matches to play this season.

Davitt Walsh (Derry City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Shelbourne (22.10.05).
Automatic suspension as per FIFA directive already served in next competitive match as Derry City have no more Under 21 League matches to play this season.

Ben Whelehan (Dublin City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

These players will be suspensed for last league game of the season.

Those 3 are the ones that stand out.

Does that mean Barry Molloy will miss the last game of the season at Cork???:eek:

Yes. :D

I was hoping those 5 bookings in Cup semi final might have some affect on last game of the season.

Ah well, a victory for Waterford and Shelbourne and a wee point for Shamrock Rovers should make that suspension meaningless:D

Limerick were fined €50 for inadequate pitch markings v Sligo Rovers (21.10.05) :D, serves them right, ye feckers ye!:p

there didnt seem to much wrong witht he pitch when we were there

Dirtiest player to have graced the first division, overly aggresive and some very nasty fouls, doesnt deserve to be still playing.

Football yes but first division no only 5 to 6 years and i find Lavines actions to be repulsive and he is lacking any sort of fair play. Ive only seen him play a couple of times this season and the amount of off the ball incidents and some blatantly dangerous tackling. Over all i find him a very dirty player.
