eircom League Suspensions effective 9th November


The following suspensions and sanctions were issued by the eircom League Disciplinary Commission at their meeting on Wednesday, 26th October 2005 and will take effect as and from Wednesday, 9th November 2005 unless otherwise stated:


Dessie Baker (Longford Town) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Barry Burke (Monaghan United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

John Carroll (Technical Official, Drogheda United) suspended from all involvement in football from Friday, 28th October 2005 to Sunday, 13th November 2005 inclusive, fined €250 and severely warned as to his future conduct as a result of being reported by the referee v Mullingar Town (15.10.05).

Keith Doyle (Shamrock Rovers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Derry City (14.10.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive to be served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.

Anthony Flood (Athlone Town) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Cobh Ramblers (14.10.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.

Graham Gartland (Drogheda United) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Cork City (14.10.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive to be served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.

Nigel Keady (Galway United) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Sligo Rovers (15.10.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.

Robbie Kelleher (Limerick) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Paul Leahy (Kilkenny City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

Mark Leech (Drogheda United) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Mullingar Town (15.10.05). Automatic suspension in next Under 21 League match as per FIFA directive to be served and ONE (1) first team competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.

Shaun McGowan (Finn Harps) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Paul McTiernan (Sligo Rovers) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match as per FIFA directive and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Galway United (15.10.05). Suspension already served.

Trevor Molloy (Shamrock Rovers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of reaching twelve (12) penalty points.

Declan O’Brien (Drogheda United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points.

Mark O’Brien (Bohemians) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match as per FIFA directive and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Finn Harps (14.10.05). Suspension to be served.

Conor O’Grady (Sligo Rovers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of reaching twelve (12) penalty points.

David Scully (Kildare County) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match as per FIFA directive and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Dublin City (10.10.05). Suspension already served.

David Scully (Kildare County) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Shamrock Rovers (15.10.05). Automatic suspension in next competitive match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) first team competitive match as and from Wednesday, 9th November.
