Waterfords sullivan chiped forde from inside the box after bad marking by derry.Derry never tested waterford keeper the whole half, forced a few corners but really missing Gary Beckett(must have got injured in the warmup before game started)

Rovers one down at home now. Bottom getting very tight if Pats draw and Waterford win. Harps doomed.

I really can't see the scores staying this way, would be too good to be true. ;) What is the correct league table as it stands, per irishfootballonline, that has Rovers second last now? That right?

SPXcyan
28/10/2005, 8:11 PM
I can see it now...Cork and Derry to score in the last 5 minutes...then score again after 90 minutes  I can just see it

Cork 0 Pats 1. Yeeesssss. There is a God. Down to 9 men too (Perth and Foley s/o) I listened to the last 15 minutes or so on the radio, and my nails are bitten down to the knuckle. SIX BLOODY MINUTES added time. Ref obviously did his best for Cork. What a feeling. Only pity is that Waterford won too (Sorry Waterford fans - no mercy in a relegation dogfight) Still, Rovers and UCD right back in the smelly stuff now. Fasten your seats belts for the last few weeks people, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Pats v Rovers next week, I don't know if my nerves can stand it.

Just back from the X. We were shocking tonight, If we were still there we still wouldn't score. How can you win a game when the other team won't come beyound the half way line. They did twice and scored from one of them. :( Atleast we are top for now. :)

Just in from Tolka, the league ain't over yet...

Great first few minutes from Shels, hit the bar within about 30 seconds! Jayo's goal was great, good quick thinking from Weso to create it. Crawford and Fleming were excellent, but the second half was typically depressing Shels. Bobby Ryan got MOTM, how I will never know. Another 3 points, our excellent run continues. If we beat Cork in a couple of weeks you just never know...

Typical Shels fan moaning as usual (MrJoeSoap) but we played some superb stuff tonight and on another night could easily have scored 5 or 6. Ryan played very well tonight too

If it wasn't for Waterfords goalkeeper tonight, it would have turnd worse. Their defence was awful, the amount of times he wingers got in behind them was unbeleiveible but couldnt finish. He pulled off a super save and if waterford stay up it will be because off him.

Also why was Pat Dolan crying?

SIX BLOODY MINUTES added time. Ref obviously did his best for Cork.
There were 6 minutes injury time because of the time wasting by SPA, which started from the second they kicked off.
SPA deserved the points, btw.
