I was suggesting in mightn't be true, knowing how obviously valuable he is to the Derry team .... hence the rumour mill !! :ball:

Possibly the most feeble attempt at a rumour and a wind-up I've seen on this site in some time, RedX. Even the 12yr old Shels posters on here put you to shame....
You may still have European Capital of Culture status for the next 9 weeks, but you wouldn't even be County Cork's capital for wind-ups and rumours.

I could not care less whether you believe it or not..if you think its a wind up why do you reply?...i am simply reporting what a person close to the club told me..on the Shels forum they are talking about a rumour one of our best players Laim Kearney is signing for them..do you see me or any Cork City fan getting hot and bothered?..grow up..if its not true dont be so worried..;)

absolutely tragic stuff C A W Kies...real paranoia transference.
It might be a bit more plausible if you`d posted this thread & the McHugh one more than a few hours apart.
McHugh isn`t a big fan of Derry & would probably go anywhere else but us. You really should have known that.
& as for Farren moving 400 miles away from home to a club thats won considerably less trophies than his current club....You`d want to be giving him some hell of a payrise as the move makes buck all sense.
& as for why he was quiet on Fri nite? Probably cause he`s more used to playing on a football field rather than the bog that the Cross was. I thought the National ploughing championships finished last month?

Pointless thread.
Supporters usually like opposition teams when they not seen as a threat. If Cork & derry City fans are abusing each other in 2 years time will mean that the Dublin eL dominance has been crushed.
To be honest I heard that aswell. Apparently he's going to Cork on the 18th Nov with the rest of the Derry team to wrap up the league title :)

Think again then .Seriously , he has interests in Donegal and has a new business just opened in Derry.Now ,if he wants to stay in the prem ,and wants to get european football as has been mentioned ,he's hardly likely to want to go to Cork or Dublin
Next question is , Is there room for both Farren and McHugh in the same team

Hang on - so you're suggesting that McHugh might join Derry (purely, it seems, on the basis of him opening a shop in the regional capital of the area he lives in) and that that makes Derry fans bitter....?:confused:
In the immortal words of one K. Keegan Esq "I'd love it, just love it" if McHugh turned-out in a Derry shirt. Would be the start of something special...

In the same way that Cork fans love George for being a local with passion for their club I consider players like Sean Hargan and Paddy Mc L legends. I don't want McWho with us, I will never accept him. It shows that we are a soft target for people who abuse us. He can come and it will only show that we are the only club in the north-west to be taken seriously but I'll never ever sing or congratulate the runt.

have heard from a member of bohs that they are working on considerable investments in the next couple of weeks and should be in a position to bring in some real quality for next season remember where u heard it first
