Its probably been talked about so many times on here but he comes across as a sound bloke that knows the game very well..every week he seems on the ball with his comments on eircom league weekly..he rightly criticised Alan Mathews for criticising one of his own players(Sean Prunty)in a television interview..he spoke out for the need of Landsdowne for the FAI Cup Final also..have to say i like the guy..he definetly has a big liking for Cork City FC and i think Killkenny could be grooming the future manager of our club..well done Mr Scully..

Has to be said, he has it fairly bang on all the time .... he does seem like a sound bloke alright, used to hate him at Shels (understandably) being honest but yeah ... seems OK now ... dont think any fans dislike the guy ... cant recall it anyway !!

Paul Osam ... sort your passport out, be humbled that you get to visit our City !! ;)

Whatever about his comments on TV or elsewhere, it has to be admitted that he has done an amazing job at Kilkenny.
From annual re-election candidates to an outside chance of a play-off spot with 4 games to go is some achievement.

He has to like CCFC, our loan players are the reason Kilkenny are doing so well ;)

No, credit to his work on and off the field this season.
Been a breath of fresh air for a number of reasons.

the man seems to posess two traits very rare in the eircom league.... a brain and common sense.

thought it was an interesting appointment at the start of the season for kilkenny, potentially disasterous and potentially brilliant at the same time... but god knows they had nothing to loose :D

he could be the next stephen kenny................any the odds on kilkenny wining the cup in three years time:eek: ;)

He is a brilliant manager - he always has the players ready to give 100% for every match, has a good brain and talks a lot of sense too btw he used to get a bit of stick from away fans at our home games but this has quickly stopped:)

Personally don'tlike the guy any time i've seen him lay this season hes came across as a bit of a slimy cheat tbh. Has did a good job with the annual no-hopers below in Kilkenny "City" tho. (By good job I mean he signed the loan players from Cork we should have signed) :p :ball:
