If anyone wants club logos and a superb kit pack for all of the eL clubs (including all away kits) that myself and a friend of mine created - PM me and I'll send you them on.

its to be expected and most people patch up their versions :/
having bought it and being massively disappointed by it, i revert yet again to cm 01/02 where i am in about 2116 :)
I truely began to dislike the cm franchise and indeed fm after cm4 , the game died for me, it went waaaay to realistically indepth, the way 01/02 runs is just right imo

they're already in the game, all you have to do is go into the editor and change their league registration to whatever you want.
by the way, sign denis behan, i may have embellished his stats

I used to use CM4 but the disk cracked and now I'm back to using championship manager 00/01. I tried cm5 but did'nt like it. My computer is a Dell windows xp dimension 2350 bla bla bla so I'm hoping that FM2006 would work on it.
Do ye all recomend this game yeah? ,cheers

Franco and Pat Hannigan are havin a storming season for me in Fm2006. Franco's hit 23 goals in 27 games and Hannigans kept 8 clean sheets. Bray in 3rd position behind Shels and Bohs. Cork are 6th:D .

Anyone got any top players to sign for in FM06? Just started with City. Broke the bank to sign Zayed coz Fenn and Behan are rubbish in it.
WHY is Tony Tynan always Cork City's best player???
Gareth
23/12/2005, 11:39 PM
I signed Zayed from Bray and Youba from Charlton. Gamble came to me on a free and I got a class Brazilian called Inigo. I did get offers accepted on bigger players but none came. I am into my second season and failed to get group stage in Europe. I think you need to get group stages to get the big players. Gary O'Neill is very good. I got offers for Wes, Crowe and I sold Crawley :)

Stephan bradley should be potentially the best in the league! I made him that way ;)

Joey Ndo is the best player in the league, but not the most consistent. I made him that way ;)

Joey Ndo is a hero so far for me, 7 goals in 10 games, so I went to renew his contract as there were 18 months left and I wanted him on a 5 year deal!!
Then I'm told this cannot be done!!
Is there anything in the game or the editor so you can get Joey to sign and have no worries about work permits???
Gareth
29/12/2005, 8:40 AM
Joey went out of contract and then hung round for a bit month to month. I couldn't play him so I eventually offloaded him. He retired shortly after. I did sign a lad with Bohs at the time, Luke Rodgers who is playing a stormer with me. As well as Matthew Yeates I think it is. My current starting 11 and subs are:
Delaney
Heary Hawkins L'Estrange Dillion
Finnan Hoolahan
Yeates
Zayed Rodgers J.Byrne
Subs: Fitzpatrick, Gamble, O'Neill, Rogers, Williams, Two Brazilians I cant pronounce.
Basically anyone could start. They are all good enough to. Fitzer is stunning. A Goal machine.

My current starting 11 and subs are:
Williams (has been in the best premier XI for the past 6 games)
Heary Fearnando Nino Hawkins Fleming
Ndo Houlihan McManaman Moore
Byrne Fitzer
SUbs:
Sandvliet
O'neill
Crowe
Delanly
Babangida
Gareth

Raheny do you play properly or edit teams etc?
Raheny Red
29/12/2005, 2:09 PM
I play properly!!
I don't see the point in editing a game (it doesn't feel the same:rolleyes: ).
It is possible to get Mcmanaman, Nino, and Babangida at the very start of the first eL season as they are all out of contract.
McManaman and Nino are decent but Babangida is nothing to shout about (terrible signing to be honest!)
Gareth

I turned Roy Keane down. I tried to sign him and he agreed but he was 37 and I really didn't see him in my plans. I have signed Timlin too. I have a number of Ireland Internationals. None are regular starters for the Ireland team. I have a reputation now that I get offered international managers jobs and some lower Premiership team manager jobs. I refuse them. I have won the league three years in a row but lost out to Bohemians and Drogs last year!!! This season 15 out of 15 so far!!!
Raheny Red

What year are you in??
I'm only started in my first season and things are going smoothly!!
It easy to get good young players on loan from top european clubs??
Gareth
29/12/2005, 2:39 PM
I am into season 2008 or 2009. Pat Fenlon is manager of Bury. Ireland still have Kerr at the helm.

That is the question. There is no great difference in the game imho. A few nice extras to make it more realistic. But if you can find it some where cheapish in the January sales then defo buy it!!

Just finished my first season in FM2006!
Won the Setanta and the league (on Goal Difference:cool )
Got to the Semi finals in both the league cup and the FAI cup :o
Qualified for the 2nd qualfying round of Champ's league to be knocked out by Macabi Haifa. (Learned a lesson from this - Williams was injured after 13 mins, no sub GK_ step forward Davy "Brian Flood" Rogers) Wasn't quite as good as Brian Flood and lost 3-0. Over 2 legs lost 4-2 :o
