Every time I see a screenshot - I shall ask "how do you put up a screenshot of FM 2006"?? it is my destiny, I must find out!:p

Ya I was aware of that but I'm pretty sure the couple of players I was trying to buy were over the age limit? Anyway will try later on.

Bear in mind that I'm no genius at computer games and I don't do RTFM(!) if anyone decides to respond to my query.....

Why when approaching to sign a player whose contract is expiring do I always have to pay compensation?

Cheers for any answers!
Check the "transfer date" option in the contract dealings. If you have it set at "immediate" you will pay compo, you can change it to "end of contract" though, which is free.

Did anyone else have any problems installing the game? My computer is fairly new(XP) but when I insert the CD it doesn't start up. I've tried the run option but that doesn't work either:mad:. Any suggestions please?

After 10 league games, I'm in 16th in the Championship and have scored the most goals out of everyone(23) but also have the worst defence in the league conceding 23 aswell. My defence is dire but I have signed Sebastian Larsson from Arsenal on loan for three months, he's a left back who I know from another game is quality. Hopefully it'll help:).

im 11 games into my second sesaon with leeds, not won one, second from bottom in the prem, and yet scored almost the most goals in the league!

btw, i signed this unbelieveable Moroccan Striker, called Ali Elkhabatti, 7 in first 9, very good.

If Arsenal dont play Fabregas,then get him on loan.
He is unbelievable and will score about 10 goals a season.

Best Striker on that game is Anelka.You can get him for under 10million and he got me 41 goals in his first season.

Free, out of contract, and i think he was with a dutch club...RBC Roosendaal!Just checked it out, he's still with Roosendaal and worth 2.2million. I enquired as to his availability and they said 4.4million pounds:eek:. Something Luton Town can only dream of spending on a player:(.

Van Nistelrooy managed to get 80 for me one season in CM01-02

Can't compete with that :eek: My best was probably Rafael Van Der Vaart scoring 43 from midfield in my all conquering Liverpool side :)

Anyone else think cm01-02 was the best??

Think Saviola got something like 50 for me one season with Celtic, went unbeaten for nearly 2 years!
