It has been reported that an Irish journalist has been kidnapped in Baghdad.
Rory Carroll, Baghdad Correspondent of the British newspaper, the Guardian, was abducted as he left a house in Baghdad's Sadr City area, according to the newspaper.
He had been watching the televised trial of Saddam Hussein with an Iraqi family, said the Guardian's Middle East editor, Brian Whitaker
