Is this (http://www.breakingnews.ie/2005/10/12/story225055.html) showing total disrespect for high office?

I would say yes. How can he be working for his public when he's away feeling women up in trailors?

Well the Americans were stupid enough to sign him! What did they expect? As for disrepect I would say so. He should be one or the other.

However, as a Terminator "fan" I think it is great he is doing another one. He is the Terminator. Nobody could replace him, nor would it feel the same.

So, whats he gonna be in this one? Good terminator, or bad terminator? I personally much preferred the bad one.

I dunno, most politicians have businesses that they run outside of office. Let him at it (as I dont care really)

most politicians aren't in the business of running around, semi-clothed, muscle bound and speaking in a robotic fashion in order to make a totally unrealistic threequel to a movie though...especially high profile politicians like the Governor of California.

The other candidate was a porn actress... So you cannot even blame them for voting Schwarzenegger. It says it all about American media influence of course when a state as big as California only brings on two movie stars as governor candidates...

Agreed. Although he must have enough $$$$ not to be worrying about work, unlike many other politicians.

The question is: when Arnold got elected, did anyone really believe he would give up films for politics and turn down million-$ offers ?

Luckily that porn actress didn't win the elections in California, imagine she'd be governor combined with further doing her "old business" :D
