Its a shame that such a good resource for eL news and info has closed. Well done to Johnny Ward for keeping up such a good site for the last few years.

For those of us exiled that site was more than a life line it was in many cases our life blood. Gone but never forgotten.:(

i was exiled for 7 months and relied heavily on the site to keep in touch..

oh yea and fair play to dundalk for upstaging da boez
*even if i still hate ye from that tom mcnulty goal..

Jeez i take a couple of days off work & JW calls it a day. Something big broke last year when did the same. :eek:

I suppose can't blame him for closing up shop as can only imagine the time & effort required to keep the site updated. I think eircomleague.net set the standard for the likes of the commercial sites to follow.

btw would sometime in the middle of the WC be a possible better time for el fans tournament? after the 1/4 finals when less agmes on?
