the rovers beat the college today in a friendly game at the IT pitch.i expected sean to put out a weak team but it was a fairly strong one.the team was:
O Hara
Raf
R O Donnell
AN other
Low
Rossiter
Foley
Faz
McCann
Browne
Alvarez

Carlos scored the goal.he has been offered a contract for next season too by the wat.it was a pretty poor game.the college gave it everything but rovers superior fitness and class told.banana came on at half time for o hara and also a load of young lads came on in the second half.raf played very well for rovers.purcy and emlyn mulligan played well for the college.barry o dwyer was also at centre half for the college.i don't know who the second centre half was for rovers but i was very impressed with him.maybe somebody on trial??

Yeah, I heard about that. No idea of the team though. Looking at that, Sean put out a strong enough side, he is been very stupid and risking a lot at this part of the season:mad: . Hopefully no injuries:(

no injuries....was the 2nd cb not colin gaule!

rovers were poor...no injuries i think..even though it was a bit of a physical game....faz and foley were the best performers

bit of controversy after the game...connor just cant stay away from it:rolleyes:

what happened after the game ? i know sean had words with the ref in the first half.
i only saw the first half and a bit of the second half had a lecture at 2:(
i thought foley did well ryan and raf too.

Not the only one gustavo.I saw bit of the first and second half but then Play and Games came acalling.
Purcy did well for the I.T. as did number 10,Johnny something...good wee player from Manulla but the only real incident was Sean giving off to Ronnie Melly(ref) for not protecting his players.
What did people think of the younger lads who came on.I know Rohan O'Donnell came on but who else did?
