for those of you who havent heard, this guy needed money to pay for his college fees, and he set up a website called themilliondollarhomepage.com and charged a dollar for every pixel, so basically for every banner you see there it cost about $100!
and he is now a dollar millionaire!!!
i dont see how some firms see marketing ideas like this as good for business!!! however it is the 127th most viewed website!

ya thats another thing pete, the bloody thing is never up because he is paying a basic hosting package with limited monthly bandwidth well thats according to the daily skank ( mail), however I have never been able to connect to it, so Im assuming its right. I would have thought he would have moved the page to some other hosting site and upgraded dramatically. All it cost for the year was 40 pounds!!

3.2 million unique visitors have visited the site in the last 2 weeks, thats why people are advertising there. i had a go at it too after his idea came out, but originality is everything.

The one i clicked on was The Times just to see if not a spoof. Sure everyone just visits to see if exists & be surprised if many click on the links...
