everybody is basing predictions on the Swiss game on current feeling which is deservedly low which is fair enough I suppose considering we could (and perhaps should) be miles ahead.
Anywho, when we beat Cyprus comfortably on Sat the mindset will be changed and everyone will be hyper going into the match next Weds.
With the Swiss perhaps needing a win to get a playoff place or to win the group it means they will not be able to sit back.
I'm fcuking confused with all these poxy permutations. A win on Sat will set us up for the Weds where another win will set us for the play-offs.

kingdom dont be so optimisitic it was only a few weeks ye lot expected to bring the all ireland back with you ;) :D
i think we will beat cyprus, but i reckon a draw with swiss, gut feeling and i have predicted correct so far all this campaign bar the draw away to swiss, which i thought we would win. QUOTE ME ON THIS.
i reckon we will go 1 up against the moneygrabbers and then they get a poxy goal or goal from a setpiece and will hold out and we wont be able break them down.
I see us beating the cypriots 1 or 2 - 0 in a dodgy enough win.
i will be more than happy to be proven wrong tomorrow week. ;)

Go fcuk yerself you poxy Mayo based wankstain! See I'm not bitter about last week at all at all.
I've every right to be optimistic - I'll be drinking in Fitzsimons on Sat and Ireland have got a result everytime they needed to when I've watched a game there. Plus I'll be wearing my lucky underpants on Sat.

we need a draw or a french win on saturday - then the swiss will come to dublin and will have to go for a win not unless the israels mess up against the faroes..... i dont want them coming having to play for a draw

Yeah read something about that too. Apparently some old gk was recalled after 3 yrs in the wilderness (he is plying his trade in Greece) which led to a Cyprus based keeper being dropped and some of the local players got put out by this. A few of the local based players were dropped also. Deadly.

If we take it to them they'll collapse in pieces faster than a LIDL garden set. Quote me on this next sunday.
Thats a classic!!! :D

France (16) would finish top if they beat Switzerland (16)
in Bern on Saturday.
If the Swiss won they could still be pipped for first place
by Ireland (13) who travel to Cyprus (4).
If France beat Switzerland they would finish top by virtue
of having a better head-to-head record against the Swiss and the
Irish, who meet in Dublin next week.
Israel (15) have a mathematical chance of winning the group
but with only one match remaining, against the Faroe Islands
(1), their best hope is probably the runners-up spot.

Meh, it has most of the top european leagues stats in it, the owners must be biased against the eircom League. And Cork City in particular by the looks of things. Wonder if any of them have walked out on any website they were starting up with in the past?

This Cyprus team was talked up before we played them in Dublin and they were terrible. We were poor enough and still stuck three past them. If we take it to them they'll collapse in pieces faster than a LIDL garden set. Quote me on this next sunday.
Bump!!! Lads I'm away for the weekend and won't speak with ye again til we're all commenting on Monday on what the fcuk everyone was so worried about.
Add "Banana Skin My Arsé" to that which ye can quote me after the weekend.

Hope they aren't the same ones you wore on All Ireland Final Day  :D ?
I'm going for a dodgy and nervy 1-2 for us. We probably will be winning 2-0 and they'll put one back just to make us sweat really hard. Get nervous thinking about it even now.
I think we'll be alright. 6 points. Im feeling a lot more confident about this over the last few days for some reason.
According to press reports in todays Examiner the Swiss are feeling very confident about the France game and topping the group (http://www.irishexaminer.com/pport/web/sport/Full_Story/did-sghBIlwiLguFMsglO-LCk0lQvU.asp) although I wasnt impressed with them at all when I saw them play Israel a weeks few ago. You never know, they might just do us a favour and beat the French, either way I think we will do enough for at least a play-off spot. :)
All I care about is the Cyprus game and I'm feeling more and more confident we will get a good result there.
We will have the majority of fans in the stadium - and as this is the hard core - the noise will be awesome.
The players seem to be in the mood and I think things are going our way.
There is dissention in the Cypriot camp, their fans are more interested in staying home and watching Greece play on TV.
Our team is almost certainly to be
Given
Carr Cunningham Dunne O Shea
Finnan Kav Killer Duff
Elliot Keane
I think we will win handily and set up a GREAT FINALE against the Swiss on Wednesday.
Come on you Boys in GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN.................
Aside to the wife: "Is it to early to go to the pub for the game?"
"I know it's tomorrow but I want a good seat"

we can beat cyprus 1-0 or 2-1. We can beat the choclate makers 1-0 but its not surprising to be a draw. As for the play offs , i cant see us winning that

Were you there when the Swiss came to town a few years ago PP ?? what did you think of their players ? Personally I dont like them. Hence the choclate makers tag.
