The first under-21 silverware of the season will be awarded on Tuesday night at the Carlisle Grounds. While their senior team sits in a horrible run, St. Pats under-21 side have qualified for their second Enda McGuill under-21 cup final. Bray Wanderers on the other hand are in the final for the first time and hadn't gone past the second round before this season.

Bray Wanderers vs St. Patrick's Athletic
(Carlisle Grounds - 7:45 pm - Enda McGuill under 21 cup - Final)
Referee: Conor Fitzgerald

St. Pats were losing finalists in 2003 and no club has so far managed to win the competition twice. The Saints have plenty of experience in their manager, Saints legend Paul Osam was installed as manager earlier in the year and he must be a good bet to land the main job at Richmond Park, sooner rather than later.
Bray are managed by John Finnegan and this season has seen them improve greatly at under-21 level and although they've performed well in the under-21 league as well, they have just missed out on qualifying for the knock-out stage, with St Pats qualifying from the same group.

Tickets are on sale now from the Carlisle Grounds – adults just €7 and kids go free. Tel 01 2863552 for details.

Paths to the Final:

Bray Wanderers :
1st Round: bt Belgrove 6-5 on penalties (1-1 AET) (Home)
2nd Round: bt Dublin City 9-8 on penalties (1-1 AET) (Home)
Quarter-final: bt Cobh Ramblers 3-1 (Home)
Semi-final: bt Sligo Rovers 4-2 (Home)

St Patrick’s Athletic :
1st Round: bt Bohemians 5-4 on penalties (0-0 AET) (Home)
2nd Round: bt UCD 1-0 (Home)
Quarter-final: bt Shelbourne 3-0 (Home)
Semi-final: bt Mullingar Athletic 5-0 (Away)

It had everything bar a red card or two ! Great turn out as well from Bray and Pats fans.

Delighted for our lads, fully deserved as well.

What was that apology by the announcer to Pats and the eircom League at the end all about? Did something happen before the pens? Fair play to Maurice Dunne, he held his nerve and the team fully deserved it.

I don't know about that, I was wondering too.

Good for the lads. Mick Roche looked great last night. I thought Darren was a bit quite for once. Pat made a few good saves and his first peno save.

I couldn't believe how the Pats lad skyed the ball so far over!

Cracker of a game last night and I'm absolutely thrilled we won!! All the lads played well but I was very impressed with Willie Tyrell, seems a very good prospect for the future.

Some talented players in the U-21s, expecting a decent few of them to become first team regulars in the future:)
