The defensive solidarity has corresponded with Sean Hoares absence from the team. Coincidence ? :D I thought he was a poor signing, and wouldn't have him near the first team, bar in case of a dire emergency,

Very poor signing. It was definitely a case of SK signing the player Hoare was and not the player he currently is. Hopefully we will never see him start again.

Hoare has been poor and aswell as that Grivosti has had some very shaky performance this season. Every match he played in there's at least one dodgy pass straight to the opposition. Turner has done well since he has come in and he possibly should have been given more chances in the 1st half of the season

Im not sure what the contracts are like but id imagine that SK will go shopping for a CB in the off season. I like Tom but he is making mistakes lately and could potentially be moved on if we want to go up a level next year.

A lot if us thought Hoare went downhill after SK left DFC, he did ok at Rovers but his height was def 5+ years ago, prob end up back at Dundalk !!!!!!

Very possible but I’d could be initially on loan as we will have to eat up a portion of his wages until we can get fully rid of him.

How long was he at rovers?
Probably ****ed his career by being a bench warmer there , players need minutes!
Many players have advanced their profile by joining the big successful club of the moment, and it probably looked good business to go from dfc to srfc but if you are only playing every third game you lose a bit.
Shoulda joined pats earlier!

He joined Rovers at the end of 2020 (after scoring against them in the cup final!). Him and Sean Gannon moved from Dundalk within a few days of each other.

130 games in 4 seasons so not exactly bench warming and he had a couple of injuries as well.
I liked him and he had a goal in him....or 8 indeed

I agree Tom hasn't been as good as last season. Luke Turner has made himself first choice alongside Redmond in my opinion.

I'll never forget him earlier in the season at Tallaght throwing the ball straight to Graham Burke inside the Pats area from a throw. I swear he thought he was still playing in Green and White ! One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Are you guys still paying part of his wages by any chance ? ;)

Yeah that was hilarious alright , i think he def had a brain fart and just threw it to Burkey, there isnt really any other explanation there was no one within 10 yards of Burke
