It's not the main body for European clubs but Ian Harkin did an interview with BTS last year stating why he felt it was important to join the body

Anyone have any idea why Bohs haven't signed up? It was Lambert championing the UEC that first brought them to my attention, but he hasn't even joined with his own club:
