Taking stock of the first quarter of the season, the results achieved to date would equate to 40 points by the final round, which would be exactly half as many again as last year, but that requires year-round consistency, and we saw post-break slumps in the last two terms that can hopefully be avoided this time round. As for tomorrow's game, Harps certainly look a much more combative and competitive side since their change of management, but have found it hard to see out games, and our own record in Ballybofey is far from shabby. You'd imagine that all things considered, we'll have an unchanged line-up if fitness allows, though Kelliher will undoubtedly be pushing for a starting role. Aladesanusi added stability at the back, and Brookwell looked far more comfortable back in midfield, so hopefully we can maintain last week's form, and come away with a draw.

Kerry again go in search of back to back league wins for the first time. With an ok record against Athlone and Finn Harps, it is probably the best run of games to achieve it. The Friday - Monday games are tough but enough experience in the group for this situation. I'd imagine a similar line up to last week. Keep the momentum going and worry about Monday after that if things need to be freshened up.

I would assume the same starting 11 and then rotate squad for Mondays game. Real test of management team to pick horses for courses and get the right / best available first 11 out for both games. Need a minimum of 4 points from this round of fixtures to stay in touch with the playoff spots (definitely now that the points appeal was rejected).

A comedy of errors. You wonder what goes on in training all week. Showed no determination or willingness to win the ball in the second half - only one team wanted it and Harps deservedly got it.

Occupying the unwanted spot in the table again. UCD in 7th have a 4 point cushion. 8th to 10th including Kerry could get cut a drift. Disappointing.
