And we think we got it bad. I read on the beautiful game website
that East Fife pay their top scorer and player of the year £20 a week- must be against the minum wage but £4 x 1.5 hours (90 mins) is only £6 i guess on second thoughts. At least they had the good grace to turn down a bid of £1000 from East Stirling for
the player, calling it a "joke". Perhaps Cork could twin with them
or use them as a feeder club a la Leicester, as we seem to share
the same financial nous.
