If the squad weren't already motivated by another Munster derby, and wanting to make amends for last Friday's limp display, then the events of the last 24 hours will surely fire them up to greater heights tomorrow night! Neither team could be said to be in sparkling form, with the win in Wexford our only points in the last four games, while the home side have only two draws in the same spell, and are without a goal in their last 270 minutes. That said, Lee Devitt will have to be well marshalled on Friday, being a clear and present danger at this level. Alabi remains suspended, and neither Gleeson nor Kelliher are yet available, so few alternative options are at management's disposal for now. Certainly, one suspects we'll be more than happy if we can come away from Limerick with a draw.

Pick the best starting 11 with players in their best positions, and a good overall team performance playing decent football (no hoofball). I will be happy with that and will take whatever result comes, which I think would be at least a draw (if not more).

Been a tough week. Hopefully there is bite in the response in the park tonight. I agree with playing players in their best positions if possible. Seems to me only three CBs management want to call upon, otherwise Brookwell or Williams have to cover.
I'd like to see an improvement on retaining the ball and being composed in possession. Hoping for a positive response. Up the Kingdom!

Tough 1st half - only got going maybe for 10mins before their 2nd penalty. Adams looks to have missed a sitter. Fell asleep for hop ball and let them hoof one in behind, O’Connell should have dealt with it better although penalty did look on the soft side.

Looked a bit clueless for much of that first half, trying to pass it around but devoid of any real plan to actually play through the lines and inevitably go long after 4-5 passes. Treaty not much better.

Management needs to change it quick, get Holbrook into middle of park. The game is still there for them, treaty are not great.

Awful performance and result - it could have easily been 4 or 5 in the end. What’s worse, Treaty are not even a half decent team, a few Kerry rejects looked like world beaters tonight.

It’s clear heads are down and there is no confidence, and you sense there is not clear harmony between players and management either in terms of playing style.

It makes you wonder how we have brought in the likes of Theo, Floody, the PSG keeper (clearly paying all 3) and none are good enough to see any game time. Off field recruitment as chaotic as on field displays it would appear. Brookwell, Heimer and McQueen all look good signings, Adams is inconsistent. Dunne looks too slow and would prefer to see Finn Barrett or KW at right back. Mujaguzi doesn’t add a whole lot either.

Hate been negative, will always support the team but are we really any better than we were last season? Not sure where it all goes from here, has this sense of inevitability about it all really.

Should have scored before the contentious second penalty. Disastrous to concede two in the second half. Ryan Kelliher had a terrible miss after coming on. Possibly down to rustiness.
Currently the season is unravelling. Just hard to see a clear direction. A lot of passing around the back and then launching it forward. They do get a bit of joy when they play it down the wings. Will need RK full for and scoring to get them out of this current poor form.

Just read Tommy Barrett made 4 changes to his starting 11 after the loss to Longford. We make just 1 change, which really was just a direct swap in center mid, after worst performance of the season. The formation confused a bit too - several times Adams was taking the ball in the right full back position and Marjuzi seemed to slot in on left side when defending. Ultimately we were second best again in the midfield battle.

There is a lot of our homegrown players that are either off form or have regressed this season. Teahan looks like the only player that has kicked on - in fairness he was on his own again last night.

Unfortunately I think Kelliher is going to take several weeks to really get up to speed. Given his injury happened so early in the season he literally has 1 1/2 games of competitive football under his belt since the beginning of last October (over 6 months).
