View Full Version : Prediction for the Sligo game

I am afraid to say, I will go with a 2:1 win for us but maybe it's only because we cannot afford to lose this one. If we lose it then the second spot may not even be secure.

I hope that does not sound too downbeat but I don't want to come back on Sunday to a load of crap.

We must win. if we lose, its Sligo's, simple as that. One would have to doubt on our present form that we could win this match , let alone the league.

3 Dundalk 5 9 1.8
4 Cobh Ramblers 7 11 1.6
5 Limerick FC 6 7 1.2

that's pathetic from CHF. i think it'll take some sort of fu*k up(i.e. dundalk mcnamara) from us or ref(i.e. any rovers match duddy has done) for us not to win

At the end of the day, the best will win & Sligo appear to be the best team at the moment.

I am so confident about this one that only a disaster like what Red4Eva said, sending off or something could stop us from winning this one comfortably.
I also think we will keep a clean sheet.

Keely has to get this one very right indeed. I'm travelling expecting nothing to be honest. 2-0 Sligo. Doesn't mean I won't get behind the team though.

ah ya the more Dub fans that come down the better for the atmosphere.
Ye will be going home in the knowledge that ye only have second spot to play for though.

I'm saying 2-0 to Sligo. Rams to pass out Dublin City by beating Kildare County.

Your right I did. That was when Rams were nearer to ye in the table. I'd say ye have the league and hopefully Rams will get the play-off place. ;)

balloxs to this, the Dubs will win that all there is to it, the game is too important to lose or draw, The Boss will have the players fired up. Although the players know how important this game is, we will not be going there just to make up the numbers, you have been warned.

C'Mon Dublin.

The Stars

Ringo

Unfortunately I couldn't go:( ; I was away with my heavily pregnant wife (due next month, another fan for Dublin City!!!:) ) & my three year old. I used to bang the drum, hence the handle! Now I’m just part of the chorus!! Derek does all the hard work, now. Hard to go to matches every weekend, with a family. Used to be great when our games were on a Thursday.

We are like a relay team, one passes the baton on and on, what we lack in numbers we gain in dedication. We are well organised on and off the field.
