After Kilkenny getting a point out of Dublin last night,Rovers are now 5 points clear with a game in hand.Dublin City next week,a win there and its surely promotion for Sligo then.
Would anyone agree or disagree with this and are Premier Division sides looking forward to seeing Us next season or would they rather see us blow it and lose in the playoffs?

The Derry support certainly want Sligo to be promoted.

A handy away trip and a large travelling support when they come to the Brandy

hopefully sligo go up and we stay up.
nice to see some of the older clubs back into the top flight,
it s a pity the likes of limerick and dundalk are not in it as well

there should be no place in this league for clubs like,
kilkenny
monaghan
ucd
kildare county
dublin city

they dont bring nothing to the league.

What do waterford bring?

I think Sligo have the 1st Div won at this stage, then again who knows what could happen. I really hope Ramblers can get the play-off place. Friday nights win was a great win for them. They play bogey team Kildare County next Saturday night. The LOI needs more Munster teams in it.

i forgot to add boreing longford to that list,
or should i say flancare town
Ah say what you like jimbo, but bottom of the table, hardly a lot to boast about, have fun in the 1st division!

Apart from spelling and grammar, we show how a club should be run properly. Two things which you seem to be ignoring down there. Personally, I think there should be no place in the league for clubs run as badly as Waterford.

i dont think its over at this stage if dublin beat us on saturday the gaps only two points but if we win then yes it really will be up to us to lose it .

I'd like to see Sligo up.. been too long since Derry played there and be good to have away trips that weren't to dublin every second weekend

Granted I've only seen ye 3 times this season but the last performance
in Mels was shocking. Ye looked nowhere near a team in the top half of
the table, never mind actually on top!

Id fancy us to beat ye in the Showgrounds in our last away game of the
season, then we're home to Dublin City for the last match so we're capable
of nicking points off them too.

Ye have Dundalk on the plastic pitch so that might be tricky and with Kilkenny
bombing up the table I wouldnt fancy playing them away in the last game if the
season goes down to the wire.

It will be all over by saturday night so dont worry about the remaining fixtures.

Seems silly that teams can move grounds mid season , playing Dundalk on the astro turf is a lot harder than a game in monaghan also Dublin City moving back to whitehall gives them an advantage for remaining games.

We don't bring anything into the league you mean.... illiterate t**t...:D

Actually we do and here it is :we bring a well administered club that develops playing talent, as well as educating them, which lets face it you could have done with, to the League. If WUFC had been as well run over the years as UCD ye would not have nearly gone bust twice in the past 6 years !

Hope Sligo get promoted. Successful provincial teams are better than shoddy franchises.
