What game is on Sacar Beo tonight ??

Also .... just thinking ....

Would it be handy to start a thread with just Irish translation of the terms used :) ..... i.e Whats offside in Irish ??

This is what they use when I've watched games on TG4. But directly translated it would be "out of the play".

Technically it is supposed to be Cathair Chorcai ;)

I don't know why, I'm not an Irish teacher or anything but thats what they use on TG4 anyways. :cool:

That would be "as imirt".
"as an imirt" means "out of the play".

No, i've listened to it carefully and they have used it when a player is offside. Watch the game tonight and you'll hear them say it.

"out of the play" is exactly what offside is anyway. Same translation in Spanish; "fuera de juego".

Sort of on topic, are TG4 or anyone showing the Derry Shels, or any other game, next week? They haven't advertised it as far as I can see.

They haven't announced it yet. They usually announce it in blocks of games.
