Where I can get or see the press release of suspensions that come into effect tonight??

Suspensions, 7th September 2005

The following suspensions and sanctions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission at their meeting on Tuesday, 6th September 2005 and will take effect as and from Wednesday, 21st September 2005 unless otherwise stated:

Dessie Baker (Longford Town) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Derry City (23.08.05). Automatic suspension in next competitive match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 21st September.

Bohemians were fined €200 as a result of missiles being thrown by their supporters v Shelbourne (19.08.05).

Oliver Byrne (Secretary, Shelbourne) suspended from Wednesday, 21st September to Thursday, 20th October inclusive, fined €2,000 and severely warned as to his future conduct as a result of it being found that he used unnecessary force to prevent Mr Terry Collins from taking photographs and as a result brought the game into disrepute v Drogheda United (08.08.05).

Stuart Byrne (Shelbourne) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Aaron Callaghan (Asst. Manager, Longford Town) suspended for FOUR (4) competitive matches, fined €500 and severely warned as to his future conduct as a result of being reported by the referee v Derry City (23.08.05). For this four match suspension, Mr Callaghan is to remain at least 50 metres away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the matches as well as during the matches and for one hour after the matches.

Karl Costello (Shelbourne) suspended for TWO (2) Under 21 competitive matches and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v St. Patrick's Athletic (23.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Under 21 competitive match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match as and from Wednesday, 21st September 2005.

Chris Deans (Dundalk) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Stephen Duffy (Tullamore) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 League match and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Mullingar Athletic (26.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Under 21 League match as per FIFA directive to be served.

James Fagan (Mullingar Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Barry Ferguson (Longford Town) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Derry City (23.08.05). Automatic suspension in next competitive match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 21st September.

Ciaran Foley (Sligo Rovers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of reaching twelve (12) penalty points.

Simon Kelly (Dundalk) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Longford Town were fined €200 for the improper conduct of their players (five players carded and one technical official reported) v Derry City (23.08.05).

Darragh Maguire (St. Patrick's Athletic) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

William McLaughlin (Inishowen League) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Monaghan United were fined €100 for inadequate shower facilities
v Cobh Ramblers (28.08.05).

Gary Murphy (Longford Town) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Alvin Rouse (Sligo Rovers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Inishowen League (22.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Enda McGuill Cup match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match as and from Wednesday, 21st September 2005.

Barry Ryan (Kilkenny City) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Gavin Whelan (Drogheda United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Pat Hannigan (Bray Wanderers) suspended for TWO (2) Under 21 competitive matches and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Cobh Ramblers (21.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Enda McGuill Cup match as per FIFA directive to be served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 14th September.

Mike Harty (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Dundalk (18.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served.

David Hayes (Kerry League) suspended for ONE (1) Under 21 competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Gary Howlett (Technical Official, Bohemians) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match, fined €100 and warned as to his future conduct as a result of being removed from the technical area by the referee v Shelbourne (19.08.05). For this one match suspension, Mr Howlett is to remain at least 50 metres away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the match as well as during the match and for one hour after the match.

Kevin Hunt (Bohemians) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight ( 8 ) penalty points.

Colm James (Bray Wanderers) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €15 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Sean Lestrange (Shelbourne) suspended for ONE (1) Enda McGuill Cup match and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Shamrock Rovers (16.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Enda McGuill Cup match as per FIFA directive already served.

Monaghan United were fined €200 for the improper conduct of their players (six players carded) v Kilkenny City (21.08.05).

Mullingar Town were fined €100 for the poor condition of their pitch.

Danny Murphy (Cork City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

David O’Connor (Kilkenny City) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Cobh Ramblers (13.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 14th September.

Patrick O’Sullivan (Cobh Ramblers) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches and fined €25 as a result of being sent off v Bray Wanderers (25.08.05). Automatic suspension in next Under 21 competitive match as per FIFA directive already served and ONE (1) competitive match as and from Wednesday, 14th September.

Mike Quirke (Galway United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €25 as a result of reaching four (4) penalty points.

Sligo Rovers were fined €50 for the incorrect filling in of the official team sheet v Limerick (13.08.05).

David Warren (Cobh Ramblers) suspended for ONE (1) eircom League match and fined €50 as a result of being sent off v Sligo Rovers (20.08.05). Automatic suspension in next eircom League match as per FIFA directive already served.

Ashley White (Monaghan United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive match and fined €40 as a result of reaching eight ( 8 ) penalty points.

Thanks, I was trying to find out why Dessie Byrne sat out the Pat's and the scum game and is banned again tonight.
Must have been injuried!!

Hillarious stuff. What has the league come to when Monaghan are fined cause they can't provide adequate showering facilities to a bunch of corkies? :eek:

Saw that all right in our local rag here. Whats even funnier is that they have their own self contained all weather pitches with changing facilites.
