I hear people talking about Derek Mc Carthy still being our top goalscorer ...but what do you expect when our best striker ( Robbie ) is trying to act as a fulll back...and a striker.
Name one player that can fulfill that roll and score 15 goals in his debut season.
I still consider Robbie to be the find of the season..as he oozes class/commitment/ability/style..and sheer will to win every time he is on the pitch .
The only disappointment is the fact Robbie has no support up front and has to be the main support at the back...so how can we expect Robbie to outgun any striker in the league this season as he is employed as a full back .
If Robbie was given one game up front without defensive duties..I would almost guarentee the poor man would have enough energy to score a goal that he deserves week in /week out.
Its not his fault that his ratio is not up there with guys that are playing up front week in week out..with no obligation to defend.
NOC plan B ...when things are going bad..play Robbie off Tommy as they guarenteed goals together for Fairview.
Lets see if they can do it for LFC as the class is there between them.
