This time twelve months ago, the unspoken concern was potentially getting overturned by Ringmahon, so the progress between now and then with much of the same first XI can't be understated. Of course, it always helps to have the First Division's joint-top scorer in your ranks, but, much like the Kerry footballers, it's also crucial for the rest of our attacking players to chip in more regularly if/when Kelliher should have an off day. Similarly, while last week was a rare recent off day for our defence, the last clean sheet came in the win against Harps back in May, and the last time we avoided defeat away from home was against Treaty in April, so much room for improvement on both scores. All in all, Cobh have to start as favourites for Friday's tie, but with mixed recent form, extra-time wouldn't be an unrealistic target if we can somehow export our home performances.

Cobh will be favourites alright. They are just outside the playoffs at the moment. Kerry are competing well this year. Confident of getting a win against the majority in the division.
The defence needs to cut out the sloppy goals. Possibly Tuta and Spain returning, if they do, might help keep a clean sheet.
Kerry can't be relying on Kelliher all the time. Kelliher is going in in great form. Hard game to call really. Hopefully can get through.

Hopefully Tuta and Spain return and Ronan is ok after going off against Bray. A cup run would give the club a nice boost. I'm going for a 2 1 win to us.

I hope you are right! With a push for the playoffs too far out of reach, a cup run will keep this half of the season a bit more interesting.
The Munster FA hosting the Munster Senior Cup final on a Monday evening was ridiculous. The five Munster clubs would nearly be better off jointly hosting their own Munster League Cup than staying around in that Munster FA amateur hour show.

Surprisingly comfortable in the end, and only our second-ever away win! Nice dilemma for the club on Tuesday - do we want a non-league side in order to potentially reach the QFs, or test ourselves against one of the big Dublin clubs, Sligo or Derry?

Great away win. Strong start and kept the clean sheet. Hopefully will spark a decent run.

Great result..Kelliher scores again..Bohs at home now please.
Great performance - dominated from start to finish. A home draw next would do nicely. Cup run could be a nice money spinner for the club if we can advance to quarter final especially if we got an away tie to one of the Dublin clubs down the line.
