People can discuss specific players' eligibility. Bickering over who's stealing whose players, names and nicknames of national teams, and politics can just **** off to Off Topic or r/ireland or wherever you want. And yes, there have been infractions and posts deleted. Back on topic please.

That's not what you wrote.

"The question of Northern Irish players is off topic, contentious, and derailing the thread. Futher such posts will be removed and may come with infractions".

Maybe you should have expanded on your thoughts a bit better.

And in reply to my light hearted post it is not appropriate to be so grumpy and using abusive language in your reply. Are you a moderator on this forum?

Rhetorical question, clearly.

Another example of a mod being badly off the pace & tone deaf on here, moment. They're coming down thick & fast these days.

Tell me mods, if the fastidious application of the rules finishes the forum off finally [ & you're close to that point] then of what use were those rules ?

Lads can we shake hands now and move on please. Its the beginning of preseason a time when potentially eligible irish players and actual real life irish players get a few minutes for clubs and we can completely over react and think we are saved as a football nation, preseason is the happy time before the reality of the actual season let's not ruin it

Well Tets , if an admin behaves like a punk and is totally supported by other admins let's not wonder why a person like me or some others rarely visits.
Perhaps there is a context for an admin's reply to be petty and overtly profane but in this instance??
