If results stay as are.....

....Shels would have 5 point cushion over Longford for the 3rd place spot
....Harps would be 6 points adrift of Waterford

....Harps would be 6 points adrift of Waterford

With 2 games in hand - one against Cork and one against Shels  . So yeah...6 points adrift.

Cork City manager Damien Richardson has been ordered to rest for a week by doctors after being admitted to hospital with a lung problem.

The Cork City manager went to hospital earlier this afternoon complaining of chest pains which forced him to miss this evening’s Cork game against Bray Wanderers at Turner’s Cross.

Doctors will keep Richardson in hospital overnight for observation and have ordered him to take the next seven days off.

Cork face Slavia Prague in the UEFA Cup next week.

well results in the first division have opened things up , game tomorrow between dundalk and cobh , whoever wins gives them a hell of a chance for 2nd spot even first sligo dropped two and so did city .

If dundalk win we will be 3 points behind 2 and 6 behind first , with both teams to play .
if cobh win they will be even with city .

To a man Shels were superb tonight, dear god what a performance, so so satisfying, just back after a few celebratory pints, I haven't been this happy with a performance in a long time. Best performance of the season for me.

Few things for me.

1. Ndo has to start from now on, what a performance!

2. Was never a big fan of his at Bohs, or for his first few months with Shels, but Bobby Ryan is quality when he is played in his PROPER position. He links up so well with Heary.

3. Ollie Cahill at left-back is the right way to go for so many reason. Please no more David Crawley.

4. Admittedly I have only been following the Eircom League since 1992, but Weso is the most talented player I have EVER seen in this league - get this man in the Ireland squad. I’m not saying start him but if we are struggling to break down a team, I know I would rather bring on Weso to unlock a defence than Matt Holland.

As for Rovers half-time demonstration? By far the best half-time entertainment I've come across in a long time! I would have been offended if it wasn't so pathetic - oh how it capped a wonderful evening. “I predict a ri, I predict a riot” ha ha - classic, I love it!

Its been a bad season, but nights like this really do ease the pain!

No, there was some lad called "The Rooster" doing a set there and in the beginning the gob****e of an owner was reluctant to show the match.

Frazers on O'Connel street (If you mean Dublin City Centre) if you can tolerate the vomit inducing Celtic memorabilia anyway.
