RTE: Noonan and O'Brien earn Ireland U21s call-ups

Shamrock Rovers midfielder Conan Noonan and Accrington Stanley defender Connor O'Brien have both been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for the first time ahead of the friendly double-header against Croatia Under-21s and England Under-20s.

Right-back Connor O'Brien (20) is being monitored by Wigan Athletic, after 50 senior appearances for his home town team, Accrington Stanley of EFL 2. Alan Nixon, sports journalist, says that Wigan hope to purchase O'Brien in January and the story is being repeated on Footballleagueworld.co.uk and 'The Deck'.
