This nominations thread will be open until the end of the month. There will be a slight change this month in that the POTM team will shortlist the best 10 nominations for voting.
Rules are the same as before:
1. Each user may make as many nominations as they want
2. Nominations must take the form of the nominees name as a hyperlink to the thread of the post followed by a quote of the post
3. You cannot nominate a post that has already been nominated as it is already in the vote
4. Nominations must be of a post made between the 1st and the end of the month. The nomination must be submitted between the 8th and the end of the month
5. Discuss nominations in the POTM Discussion thread (http://foot.ie/showthread.php?p=347509#post347509)-not in this thead; any dicussion posts, nominations not meeting the set format or double nominations will have to be delted to prevent clutter
6.You may vote between 1st-7th of the following month
7.You can nominate anybody except yourself

So get nominating and remember only posts made on September 1st and after are elegible :)

I suggest Drumcondra Reds post here (http://foot.ie/showthread.php?t=29173&page=2&pp=20).

It's number 22. Cheeky *******! I think he's trying to get it twice in a row.

Gonna nominate this (http://foot.ie/showpost.php?p=348050&postcount=66) post by The Owl on the Genesis Reporter thread (http://foot.ie/showthread.php?t=29125) about Shelbourne fans...

It's true - I have my "living in denial" card to prove it.

Also because Shelbourne actually have no fans, you have to go thru a major existential journey before you can join our unique club.

I would guide you thru what this journey entails, but unfortunately as I do not exist, I can do no such thing.

I just found a classic by Gerrit on the "Hail King David" thread. Harps fans do not read this.

I guess second-hand prices won't be as high vs Wales than vs England, so let's say I'm prepared to offer 50-80 GBP for a ticket :) Should do the trick hopefully.

BTW, one of the English fans I met in a bar said the Welsh are legally entitled to prefer a sheep over a woman... They would put the two behind legs in their boots to prevend them from running away  I can't believe it's legal, but I'd still want to ask... I mean, if it's legal in certain states of the USA I guess it can be a small leak in the Welsh law as well
If it is legal, I can see the Finn Harps fans very jealous right now :D

This one by Lionel Richie in the "Sam Allardyce" thread.

Indeed. It thought him a valuable lesson in how to blag your way into nightclubs -something he had to do on a regular basis to get the squad rounded up.

Guys can we keep to the rules please! No discussion on the thread, all nominations in the form o nominees name as a hyperlink to the thread, follwed by a quote.....makes it quick and easy to read rather than following links round to get the post or by not knowing the conext.

That means 1 will have to go as we can only have 10 for each month. Liam and I will pick the best 10 and then a poll will be set up later today. Thanks for voting;).
