i think we need an offical pub to watch the cork match

maybe we could do mooneys...i think we need a pub where it will be filled with rovers fans..not just 5-10 in every pub

so if we get it packed and then make an atmosphere maybe...its not everyday it happens so lets make the most of it

How about the pub outside Turners Cross? That's where I hope to be for a few "Murphy's" before the game.

F**k the pubs!! Why arn't ye going? this is a massive game, how many times do ya get to a cup quarter final against the best team in the country....we should be filling at least 3 or 4 buses for it.. not 3 or 4 pubs! worry about the pubs when were in cork! When will the trust be giving us the info about the bus(es)?

Would the trust Organise a Bus & an over night Stay? A lot would go, even if the Bus stayed overnight people could organise their own accommodation. A lot of work….. But worth it for a big occasion. We need to be there.

Can any one set up a Poll, to see who would go? & Preferred options, If you new 4/5 mates interested & they have no access then vote for them? We would get a better idea from this.

The last bus the trust ran to a game did so at a heavy loss and we cannot operate at a deficit. The problem was that many supporers said they would travel but never turned up on match day,and so numbers are down but the bus still has to be paid for.

We have not abondened the away games travell as we feel it is a very important area and the team management have commneted on how important it is to them.

We have had a lot of very important issues to sort out since regsitartion and as can be appreciated we are still operating on a small committee so the issue of arranging away travel has been put on teh back burner for now.

Ideally what we would like is that all names and payment be in place 5-6 days prior to a game so regardless if who does or oes not turn up on the day the travel expences are covered.

We will discuss this at our next meeting and anyone who would like to get involved in this area please call along to the riverside hotel tuesday evening at 7.30pm to discuss it.

ye should ask the club for a small loan as ye have previously given them money for transfers! i'm sure sean would want a bus 0r 2 to be goin down and i'd say he would be happy for the club to lend ye a few hundred euro! :)

Rovers have enough to pay for with out paying fans to travel to Cork. In '98 when we play Cork in the cup away I was only a student I had **** all money too but I made it there. Remember Shels two years ago......

Get to the cross and support the Bit O' Red lads it's one of the biggest for us this season

Even if we have to pay extra ourselves would that help? i'm sure people would pay an extra bit to get to the match! Truth is that ye will fill at least one bus and if ye charge everyone a bit extra that would probably help ye out with your ''heavy loss''! we MUST have a bus to Cork!!!!!!!!!!

.. after the home game, ten people in the pub want to go to Monaghan/Cobh/Limerick so you "have" to run a bus. Then three of them turn up

The best way around this would be to print bus tickets/ask people for deposits.

i'd say there's defo enough demand for a bus cos ders a loada ppl on about going to the game that i pure wouldn't expect to go. 2 weeks to go so should be enough time to get names&deposits in
