Does anybody know of a good bar to watch the Ireland vs France in Bangkok? have just arrived here and haven't a clue.

i know theres one called the dubliner - they have setanta too as far as i know
not sure about other places - who might have sky
theres a big pub on koh san rd - main backpacker place "Shamrock i think or Gullivers at the corner of taht rd - they probably have sky and i have a feeling theres a few irish working there.
Youll prob have all the english looking to watch norn iron though!

Cheers oconghc2. Will knock in and ask there. I saw that shamrock place but am a bit worried that majority rule will mean the English game is shown.

Gullivers Tavern should have it. Hope they don't close before 2.
You can nip out at half-time and get an egg pitta off Shanjeev aswell.
Or you could always get the train to Krabi and watch it in the Irish Rover with me and the free barbeque.
(Fingers crossed that satellite connection holds together)

Cheers lads for the advice. We managed to catch the game at the Shamrock. Great laugh and more than a couple of songs belted out. Too bad i'm too depressed to even think about the result.
