I'm 99% certain they have been told to say this by Domenech to affect our gameplan. The French know more than anyone how good we can play. They don't think we've changed to long ball overnight.

how come it seems nearly all Cork city fans' posts verge on the negative? Jesus lads - cheer up ffs!! I agree with some of your points! Although the players who are pimped by mr Givens havnt exactly been held at gun point!

regarding the whole British Isles thing - from living in France i noticed that a big proportion of French dont know the difference - they can be fairly ignorant towards national differences! Let them at it! We shouldnt worry too much about their stupidity!

There was an article in the Irish Times recently about how the French seem to be the only ones in the whole of the EU who don't seem to realise that we severed ties in 1922.

One nugget I can vaguely recall that when buying a ticket from the French railways you first keyed in your country of origin before being billed in your own currency. However they had us set up to be billed in Sterling!
