I voted for a continuation of the Dublin bias. Us poor jackeens can't be expected to travel down the country to watch a match.

Premier leaders (if we stillare at that stage) v 1st division leaders is the obvious game.
Tough call between the other games, but probably Derry v Rovers promises the most goals....

Do we really have to go down that old road again about whether Sligo Rovers or Shamrock Rovers have the sole right to be called "Rovers". It has been done to death on here before and there is no right or wrong. The fact is that the word "Rovers" is part of both clubs names and can correctly refer to either club. I was simply expressing my opinion on the topic in question!

hmmmm, seen the form book lately? we are on fire at the moment, watch billy and lee roche's goals on tv3 tomorrow.
the bookies are offering lovely odds of 17/1 for Rovers to lift the cup. 6 games unbeaten and we are the outsiders of the remaining 8 for the cup! sligs at 12/1 and us at 17? madness

That's a fair comment. To me it's more annoying when people refer to us as 'Shams'.

Us and the college and, I quote TroyMcClure, the league runners-up and the cup specialists. ;)

It's about time they showed two of the smaller clubs on the telly.

you started it! all i did was take the first 4 letters of your name and add an 's'. if you dont like it done to your clubs name, dont do it to ours.

I'd say the 2 games to be shown live will defentily be Derry vs Rovers, but I'm not sure what the other will be. I'd say a toss between City vs Sligo and Drogheda vs Bohamians. No disrecipet to Bray or U.C.D but by looking at that fixture on paper it looks like a miss match I must say, then I could be wrong who knows?

Da Real Rover

Rovers Vs Cork because it will be a beauty to watch and then its a toss up between the Bohs game and the Derry game. Ill go for the Derry-Shams game, cause Derry are on fire and shams could well be the dark horses in this competition.

I agree.

Derry vs. Rvs and Drogs vs. Bohs look the two plum ties for me, and I reckon they will be the ones that TG4 will go far.

Cork vs. Sligo would have had a much better chance of being shown had the game been drawn to be played at the Showgrounds

Just have a look at how often Derry are on the box.
At least we're being shown because we're in the UEFA Cup not the poxy League Cup.

Should be the Derry and Cork games , simply because anyone interested in the other 2 games can get to them handy enough.

Damned not reading the poll correctly... Voted for Cork Sligo and...emmm...that was it. :o :)

Can't see Bray-UCD being shown. They're usually fairly poor matches, plus the other three games are more interesting, in all honesty. Cork v. Sligo - the two league leaders. Good to see a First Division team as well - they deserve it after getting this far and beating Pat's. Second choice...probably Derry v. Rovers 'cos of Rovers' recent form and the fact that they're the only team to win in Derry so far this season, though I wouldn't mind seeing Doolin lose out live on TV! :p
