Have to say I was encouraged by what I saw yesterday. Switzerland are average at best and after euro 2004 qualifiers we owe them a pasting here, so if you told me that going into the final game we would top the group with a win against them. I would bite your hand off..

To beat the french will be a massive achievement. They are not however unbeatable, a full hostile crowd at Lansdowne can make a huge difference. Boumsong is garbage, I hope Kerr took note. To sum up, yesterday was a good day for us... now lets take advantage, and show the arrogant french that we are no minnows as they seem to think

Just looking at the table on UEFA.com (http://www.uefa.com/Competitions/WorldCup/Standings/Round=1915/Group=1900.html) and was wondering why are France ahead of us, should we not be ahead on goals scored

2. France GF 8 GA 1 Pts 13
3. Ireland GF 11 GA 4 Pts 13

FIFA (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/t/group/index.html?zone=eur) has us ahead.

Agree with Tom. I think we'll draw with France and beat Cyprus and Swiss, leaving us with 20 points.

Israel beat Faroes twice and end up with 18

France will beat Swiss and Cyprus and end up with 20

Swiss win in Cyprus but end up with 16.

France not winning in Switzerland would be a huge rsult for us (provided we do the biz...)

Ah that is ok, UEFA just had to make this group more confusing...
