I'd like to congratulate everyone involved in the club for last nights efforts, from the players, manager and staff to the 12th man on the terrace. It's what being a fan of you're club is all about. After the juvenile desecration of of our former ground's memorial, I've no doubt that many Bohs fans out there hoped we would retaliate by causing some sort of destruction in the 'home of Irish soccer' (someone should tell those going to Lansdowne on Wednesday). However as goes with how the club has been run under our new owners, ie the fans, our club wasn't let down. Again well done to every fan for showing how a club should be supported, and to our players for showing our Bohs wannabes what it's like to play for the jersey

Rovers fans, (the fans without a shadow of a doubt the worst scum element in the Eircom League) are really milking this!!!

Most Bohs fans have condemned what happened. I don't recall the same being done by many at Rovers on any of the many, many occassions that they have shamed themselves.

I disagree with this statement,I believe Bohs have the worst scum element in the league

In the spirit of this thread, I'd like to say how proud I am of UCDD fans for not starting a riot in last nights big dublin derby. Despite the provocation of loads of ten year old shels fans invading the pitch after the match the twelve men in the stand stood tall and showed that they're bigger than the children in every sence. Well done to one and all.

The 12th man? Surely you mean the 12 men, I know we don't have a massive fanbase, but that was comical!!!

Why shouldn't we milk it. We've a team of players who are getting paid very little compared to you're wage bill(and please, memo to Bohs fans, don't keep blaming injuries for you're defeat, the players you had on the pitch are on huge wages compared to ours). In answer to 'most' Bohs fans condemning what happened, please visit you're own message board and you'll see that that statement is bull. MOST of you're fans think what happened is very funny, so to those I'd just like to say this 3-1

Why not Anto? He repeated the error 3 times in the post, there's no harm in actually pointing it out to him. It's a fairly fundemental part of English grammar often incorrectly used by native speakers. You're = you are, your = possession.

It certainly was. The league champions with less than 1000 at their home game. Comical.

Your mate, Pineapple stu, will insist however, that it was a good crowd, like he did at the last UCD league game at Tolka.

The first game of the season? There was more than double at that one.

Good man mypost - still talking crap, I see.

If you'd bother to check the attendances thread, you'll see that I mentioned a figure of 890 at kick-off, with 1000 being a generous figure to include latecomers. The figure myself and Slash/Ed came up with after the opening day of the season was correct to within 120.

But then of course, I was only at the game - that's no match for your brilliant powers of deduction which allow you to make statements about matches you weren't at...

That's still a crap attendance!!!

They said there were 3,500 at Dalymount last Friday, that's crap too. Bohs-Rovers games should be attracting gates of 5,000+ to Dalymount.

Pineapple Stu,
Did you not know that fans of all other EL clubs know exactly how many people go to Tolka.

I would have thought at this stage you realise that being in Tolka and quoting a realistic figure is WRONG

My mistake Higgins...sorry. Thanks for pointing that out to me. :o

Wasn't even accorded the courtesy of a reply either. It's a shame how some people will make completely unsubstantiated comments - some trying to ridicule other people - and yet when they've been proven a fool, they won't have the courtesy to apologise.
