Still over three weeks away, but the Rebels have already opened ticket sales for opening night, so should see a healthy away support both crossing the border, and from Kingdom exiles in the city!

I cannot wait for this one! ticket bought and should be a cracking atmosphere. Things have gone a bit quiet on any additional players but if we can get 2-3 relatively experience players in the Midfield & forward line, this won't be a walk in the park for City.

Most of the business is presumably done now, bar these closed-door friendlies supposedly happening between now and the Cobh game to look over the trialists - if a left-sided midfielder and another striker are unearthed as a result, that'd complete the squad, you'd imagine.

I wonder how many will travel. I'd guess about 100.

From the current squad that is listed as 26, possibly one more defender needs to be added to the squad before the Cork City clash?

Ryan Kelliher is fit for Friday, but looks like Valeri Dolia will be out for at least another week. Meanwhile, Togor Silong, Oisín Breen and Cianan Cooney are U20s currently training with the senior squad:

Some reports that Kennedy Amechi may be the only forward available for tomorrow, though Ferdia O'Brien could make his debut at some stage. On a brighter note, up to 400 Kerry fans may make the journey to Turners Cross tomorrow.

400 away fans,if correct, is a big number for a club just over a year old. Hopefully the team give us plenty to cheer and stay in the game for as long as possible.

And that's with only one supporters bus. Bit silly only running a 16 seater for this. Should be a great atmosphere.

Kerry gave Galway a good game away at the beginning of July. An improved defensive performance from last season will be required. The Kerryman were right in saying Cork will be a good gut test on any improvements made during the off season. Improvements Kerry have had to make are an open secret.
Hard to make a prediction, especially when wanting to be optimistic. Kerry will do very, very, very, very well to keep a clean sheet and also very well to score.

Decent performance overall. Bit to do in the attacking 3rd. 500 away fans has to be the highlight. Great atmosphere in away end. Things looking promising for the club if them numbers can be built on.

Home form will be key this year. 500 away supporters is great. Home wins against 3rd to 9th from last year will be important, and should be a reasonable expectation. Treaty had nearly 2000 supporters last night. They could be top 3 this year. 3-1 home win over Cobh last night.
