Is that the GAA county final day? wonder what the attendance will be like if it is. You could go to both with a 5.30 k.o. I suppose but a lot wouldn't bother and like it or not we draw on the same pool of people to a certain extent. I suppose we might have a few travelling from Cork, can't remember the last weekend game we had against them in Longford. Start of last season maybe..a 1-1 draw?

Most people will only be just back from Prague but I'd say we should still get a decent crowd travelling to this.

They'd be mad to change it. City will bring up 200 fans or more on a Sunday but only 20 or 30 on a Monday.

Considering the crowds Longford are getting recently that would be major revenue to lose out on.

99% going ahead on Sunday evening at 5.30 or 6.30, more than likely 6.30 from what I heard this evening.

Some chance of that happening tbh. You obviously lack ambition with a comment like that...

Yes obviously I would prefer us to entertain people and make sure they're happy even if we are bottom of the league looking at relegation.

Now, now - getting above your station there Maz. Expect nothing but boring, defensive, cycnical hoofball with 23 men behind the ball at all times - all wearing goalkeepers gloves & not as much as one attempt on goal ............
It's what we live for!

Longford Town - Cork City game changed again
Cork City's visit to Longford Town on Sunday, 18th September has again been changed. It will now kick off at 7pm and not the previously advertised 5:30

happy enough with that!

Terrible lack of ambition not going head to head with County Final.
