Hugh Strong, ex-Shels U19, has been appointed the new manager of Wexford FC Women. Has a bit of work to do for the new season.

First two signings confirmed for 2024 are the returning Kylie Murphy and Della Doherty. Della missed the entire 2023 season due to injury.

Four more returning for 2024:- Emily Corbet, Mia Lenihan, Michaela Lawrence and Jess Lawler. So far, Hugh Strong has stayed with the 2023 panel. Will be interesting to see if he pulls any surprises from the hat.

Three more signings for 2024 - Freya DeMange (daughter of Ken) and Meabh Russell return to Wexford for 2024 and first new player - Jayne Merren from Shamrock Rovers.

Three more players confirmed for 2024 by Wexford - the return of both Aoibheann Clancy and Ciara Rossiter and our second new player - Abby Tuthill from Shamrock Rovers.

Four further Wexford players return for the 2024 season:- Aine Walsh, Siun Murdiff, Orlaith 'Lolly' Conlon and Nicola Sinnott.

Abbie Brophy has left Wexford to join DLR Waves. Bit surprised that it never worked out for her at Wexford but best of luck to her. Would expect other moves to be announced in near future.

Wexford have confirmed on the club's website that Freya DeMange has also left the club.

The departure of three more players announced by Wexford - Jess Lawler, Mia Lenihan and Emily Corbet. Would expect that new signings are on the cards.

Wexford have announced the signing of Alyssa White, a midfielder/forward from the USA.

Ellen Molloy has (unfortunately) signed for Sheffield United according to the club's website. Probably impossible to replace but many magical moments to remember from her time in Wexford. Can only wish her the best of luck.
