In light of his takeover at Dundalk, and consequent departure from Mounthawk Park, where does this leave the club financially for 2024? It's known publicly that the KDL own 25% of the side, while Dennehy himself has also invested some of his own money in the project, but surely a new investor will have to come on board to be remotely competitive, let alone kick on from last season?

Manager gone, owner gone, Gaxha going supposedly. Not much festive cheer.

Apparently, various Boston colleagues of Ainscough already own most of the club, which in theory means the investment shouldn't be affected, unless they've all collectively upped sticks?

The club statement tonight said less than nothing, it needs to be made clear if its him or him and his buddies money that just headed for the door, urgently.
Meanwhile you are hoping he has fallen out with them but they still want to be involved I guess.
My friend is a Kerry ST holder and said the renewal email arrived as well & its just as pricey as last year, same day as this news broke, now you have to admire the balls on that.

Dennehy, Conway, the KDL and Ainscough were the four "A" shareholders, which had a monetary value of zero, but gave the voting rights and control at the club's AGM. All the Americans were then the "B" shareholders, which is where the financial investment comes into play:

I was very surprised with BD going was there any particular reason why he left and what is he at now?

Billy was originally the sporting director and he is supposed to be focusing on that role.

I see Sylvester Hennessey is promising a update in tomorrow's Kerry's Eye,
with the initial takeaway being that it appears to have been a totally spur of the moment decision by Ainscough, that left the board and staff completely blindsided:
