The Managers and Captains of both Bohemians and St. Patrick’s Athletic were received to Áras an Uachtaráin this afternoon by Uachtarán na hÉireann Michael D. Higgins ahead of this Sunday’s Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium.*
Bohemians’ Manager Declan Devine and Captain Keith Buckley and St. Patrick’s Athletic Manager Jon Daly and Captain and Joe Redmond were all invited to a Courtesy Call to the Áras ahead of the Final which is expected to have the highest recorded attendance in the history of the competition.*
FAI President Gerry McAnaney and League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon were also in attendance at the event presenting an tUachtarán Michael D. Higgins with the first Official Match Programme for the Final while the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup was also present for the visit.*
The Football Association of Ireland would also like to send our best wishes to Sabina Higgins and wish her well on her recovery from her recent operation.*
Bohemians take on St. Patrick’s Athletic in the 2023 Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium this Sunday at 3pm.*
