Held in the ALSAA complex, football in the prosper centres has been steadily increasing momentum for the past few years and the football once again took centre stage as the teams enjoyed an action-packed day.
There was support on the day from FAI Football For All Development Officer Heather Jameson along wiith*FAI staff, Paul Keogh, Jamie Wilson, Sharon Boyle and Sean Moore, and FAI support coach Anne Murray - someone who continues*to be a driving force for inclusion in the region.
"It was a fantastic day with nearly 80 players from the Prosper Fingal centres, The Warren and St Michael's House, and the continued involvement of the League of Ireland inclusion team from Shelbourne FC," said FAI Development Officer Jamie Wilson.
"There was support from Shelbourne in the Community with the attendance of their Community Officer Tony O’Neill. It was a packed out hall at the ALSAA with three*courts all running simultaneously and therefore a big thanks to the support staff from all centres and of course Anne Murray.”
Anne Murray stated:*“European Week of Sport, DCC and FCC hosted an Inclusive football event it was the third event of its kind this year, we had almost 80 players from Prosper, The Warren and St Michael's House wearing their club kits with pride. It is hard to believe it has been 2 years since we started these teams through the Kick Fit for Inclusion Programme. A huge well done to all coaches and key workers who keep these sessions going all year round, your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.”
The event had three*divisions to accommodate all level of abilities.*The next event will be held at the end of*November.

The third event of year as part of a Fingal County Council / FAI Football For All plan for continued growth in the area was a Prosper Fingal Adult Blitz.
