Whatever happens, history will be made at Mounthawk Park on Friday, in that Galway will get either at least the point they need to secure promotion to the 2024 Premier, or Kerry will prevent them by getting their first home League win. Of course, the former scenario is far more probable, but the Kingdom's margins against the Tribesmen have improved with each clash, going from 9-1 to 4-1, and finally 1-0 in June. Ethan Kos has been among the most influential home defenders since his summer signing, and if he is fit enough for Friday's encounter, he will be tasked with limiting the influence of Shane Walsh on proceedings. As ever for Kerry, Leo Gaxha and Sean McGrath will be key to any home attacks, but much like the last meeting at Eamon Deacy Park, the division leaders are likely to enjoy the vast majority of possession, with the Kerry focus more on limiting away chances rather than pushing for their own.

Kerry put in a massive effort against Drogheda. It will take a similar effort and more if they are to cause and shock on Friday night. Supposedly Virgin Media will be reporting on the game while covering a Premier Division clash.
Galway clearly have been the standout team in the division. Phenomenal win last weekend as well in the cup for them. With Galway nearing promotion and UCD nearing relegation, the other club in the First Division next year will be Cork or Waterford most likely.

Conceding from set plays. The story of the season. It's something that will need to be sorted out if there is to be an improvement in results next year.
