The Cork side blew their Dublin opponents away in some style in difficult windy conditions with three second-half goals to lift the famous trophy for the first time.
It was a first 45 minutes of few chances as both sides struggled to get to grips with the challenging conditions as the strong wind put Wilton under pressure in the early stages.
After the goalless first-half, the second-half was immediately more lively and it was Wilton United who took the lead just five minutes into the second period as Lydia Looney exquisitely chipped Serena Harron in the Pats goal to establish a one-goal lead.
At this point, Wilton had the impetus and just eight minutes later, they put the game out of sight when Barbara O'Connell rose highest to direct her header past Harron to double their lead and place one hand on the trophy.
Pats didn't go down without a fight however and they continued to try and find a way back into the game as Hannah Tyrell went closest for the Dublin club, her shot fired over the bar with 15 minutes remaining.
Wilton's Elizabeth O'Connor thought she had put the icing on the cake for the Cork club but her effort was ruled out for offside before she fired another shot just wide in the final 10 minutes.
Allie Aisling kept hold of her clean sheet in the final stages of the game with thanks to her impressive captain Zoe Murphy before Wilton broke in the final moments of the game for Player of the Match Looney to seal her brace and the team's third with a calm finish.
Pats hit the post in the final stages through Tyrell but it wasn't to be their day as the scoreline flattered the Cork club after an exciting final between two competitive sides on a fantastic facility at St. Kevin's FC in Two-Mile Borris despite the difficult weather conditions over the weekend.
