Every Wednesday, the Kerry-based journalist Sylvester Hennessey tweets out the main highlights from the following day's Kerry's Eye
sports section, and today he mentions the KDL AGM. It's stated that the KDL holds a 25% state in Kerry FC, and while they would stand to benefit from any transfer fees received for players sold on, they wouldn't be liable for any debts accrued by the First Division club. Also, it costs €57k to field the four academy sides in 2023:

Seems like a fair deal between the KDL and Kerry FC. Kerry FC's use of Mounthawk Park is also mentioned. Some delegates aren't too happy about it.

Strange that the Park delegates were most annoyed, when a significant number of their players are in the Kerry senior squad - or maybe that's why?

Park are annoyed that their former players are playing League of Ireland football?

They have been the most vocal against Kerry FC which is hard to fathom!
