As mentioned in the main forum, Arthur Nganou is poised to make his League debut for Kerry tomorrow, having featured in the recent charity match against Killarney Celtic, making him the third keeper to feature in the club's most recent four First Division games. For all that, the last time the Kingdom lost by more than one goal was in the June Bank Holiday 6-0 thrashing by this week's opponent, but on the flipside, that marked the beginning of seven league defeats on the spin, with the last point secured in Ballybofey the previous Friday. The Blues will be keen for a statement performance at the RSC, having fallen 18 points adrift of champions-elect Galway, and as ever, if either Coughlan or Idowu are kept quiet, Parsons will be eminently capable of threatening the Kerry defence.

Kerry performed very well in Waterford on their first visit but the June Bank Holiday Monday fixture was a disappointing loss. They have played well since that Waterford loss. They should have picked up at least 6 points from their last 6 games but have nothing to show for their efforts.
Not much is expected against Waterford or Galway. Possibly an opportunity to have the shape right for the visit of Drogheda.
The next six league matches after tonight is where you would hope results will finally come. The hope all season has been that the experiences gained would finally transmit into results. Hannafin has made reference to that.

Nganou starts as expected following Axworthy's double yellows. Hannafin and Keane also come into the starting XI. Aladesunusi is not in the matchday squad. O'Connell drops to the bench.
Keane, Coughlan and McGrath have good experience. Gaxha and Kelliher are always a threat. The inexperience in defence is the concern and has been most of the season. The experienced centre back pairing didn't work earlier in the season either though.
