I thought we'd only agreed to mention on this board when Aertel got a result correct rather than when they got it wrong.

I still get alaugh out of the couple of fans who met the Galway bus to abuse the players after their 7-2 thrashing by Monaghan on Aertel in the early 90's. They won 7-2 on the pitch but not good enough for some.

When i saw Aertel with Latest from Galway v Drogheda, i was thinking , is it Cup weekend already, and then sure didn't we knock Galway out.
Whats going on and then on P222 Galway 0-3 Dundalk.
Errortel is right.

It was a coding problem, obviously no-one thought that Drogheda were at the bottom of Division 1 with 1 game. Talk about making mountains out of mole-hills...

It's not a coding problem. It is sloppy poor work by people who couldn't give a damn and our national league is treated shabbily. They also regularly get rugby results wrong btw. It's not that they can't tell the differenc ebetween Dundalk and Drogheda but they can't tell the difference between Dundalk and Old Wesley.

Otherwise RTE's coverage of Irish football is of top quality. We can moan about the quantity at times and rightly so but the radio and tv coverage that we get is of a high standard

It is a coding problema nd it has nothing to do with confusing Drogheda with Dundalk. Last week Bohs were at the bottom of Div 1 with one game played according to that page.
